Qima Coffee categorically prohibits all forms of corruption and bribery. This encompasses the offering, giving, receiving, or solicitation of anything of value to unduly influence the actions of individuals, both within and outside the organisation.

Every employee, contractor, and representative is obligated to comply with all applicable anti-corruption and bribery laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where we operate.

3.3. Facilitation Payments

Facilitation payments, commonly known as "grease payments," are strictly prohibited. No employee or representative shall make or authorise such payments under any circumstances.

4. Conflicts of Interest

4.1. Definition

A conflict of interest arises when an individual’s personal interests interfere or conflict with the interests of Qima Coffee.

4.2. Disclosure

All employees and representatives are required to promptly disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest to their supervisor or the designated authority responsible for managing conflicts of interest.

5. Gifts and Entertainment

5.1. Guidelines

Gifts and entertainment must be modest, appropriate, and in full compliance with applicable laws. Employees should not accept gifts or entertainment that could compromise their objectivity or create the appearance of impropriety.

6. Reporting Violations

6.1. Reporting Mechanism

Employees are strongly encouraged to report any suspected violations of this  Policy, including instances of corruption, bribery, conflicts of interest, or other unethical behaviour. Reports can be made confidentially to info@qimacoffee.com

6.2. Non-Retaliation

Qima Coffee unequivocally prohibits any form of retaliation against individuals who, in good faith, report violations of this Policy. Retaliation is a serious breach of our commitment to ethical conduct and will be met with severe disciplinary action.

Violations of this Policy may result in a range of disciplinary actions, including but not limited to termination of employment, legal action, and other appropriate measures.
